D-2 Visa Overview
The D-2 Visa is issued to international students pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD at a recognized South Korean university or institution. The visa is valid for the duration of the student’s studies, typically one year, and can be extended as long as the student remains enrolled.
Students on a D-2 visa can work part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the semester and full-time during school breaks, provided they have permission from the immigration office.
